HI. I HAVE A 2001 POLARIS 325 TRAIL BOSS 2X4, AND I NEED TO REPLACE THE A ARM, BUSHINGS & BALL JOINT DUE TO MY GRANDSON WRECKING IT. THE BALL JOINT BROKE OFF INSIDE OF THE FRONT STRUT, BUT I WAS ABLE TO PULL IT OUT. QUESTION IS. DOES THE PLATE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE STRUT COME OFF. IT SEEMS LIKE IT SHOULD BE REMOVED SO THE INSIDE WHERE THE NEW BALL JOINT GOES COULD BE CLEANED BEFORE THE NEW ONE IS INSTALLED. ONE DIAGRAM I LOOKED AT SHOWS A BOLT IN THE BOTTOM OF THE PLACE. NEITHER ONE OF MINE HAS A BOLT.
